In a much-anticipated move, Bollywood's iconic Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to promote his upcoming film, Dunki, at the renowned Global Village in Dubai. The superstar will grace the main stage on Sunday, December 17, at 9 pm, just days before the film's theatrical release on December 21, 2023.

Shah Rukh Khan, a beloved figure among fans in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, announced his appearance through Global Village's YouTube account. This marks his second stint at the venue, following the promotion of his film Zero in 2018. Global Village

Dunki, a comedy-drama directed by the seasoned filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, boasts a star-studded cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vikram Kochhar, and Boman Irani, with a special appearance by Vicky Kaushal. The film's title, Dunki, is derived from "donkey flights," a term associated with an illegal immigration entry technique used by migrants in places like Punjab.

With its theatrical release just around the corner, Dunki is already making waves in the overseas market. According to reports, advanced bookings are showing promising numbers, with significant ticket sales recorded in Australia, the UAE, and the UK.

In Australia, Dunki has secured tickets worth 28 lakhs for the first day, while the UAE and the UK have witnessed pre-sales of Rs 37 lakhs and 36 lakhs, respectively. The film is set to face box office competition from Prabhas' Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire.

It's worth noting that Bollywood sensation Neha Kakkar is also set to host a concert at Global Village on December 21, adding to the excitement surrounding Dunki's promotion in this iconic venue.
